Our clients have different requirements but a common need to enter their chosen market quickly.

To meet this, BeyondVoice is developing and maintaining a number of protocol-based frameworks, for both Linux and Symbian operating systems, that are easy to configure and populate.

Current frameworks include:

For use on PC/Application links and for Sim Application Toolkit/Application interaction, the AT modem controls the consistency of the users’ smartphone experience. Rather than routing all AT commands directly to the baseband, the BeyondVoice AT modem controls the users’ access to AT commands and the permitted operations according to the current state of the smartphone or device.

For use on Baseband/Application and Application/PC serial communication links, 27.010 is a multiplexed protocol. Simple to configure and to use, the BeyondVoice 27.010 framework offers an easy means of transferring multiple datastreams between separate devices.

USB devices have gained mass market appeal, with an increasing likelihood of many hotpluggable consumer USB devices and hubs present on each host. The BeyondVoice Fast USB framework expands the hotplug capability of Linux to quickly detect events and automatically mount/unmount any number of devices.
